According to wikipedia its originator psychologist Rorschach considered his test to be a test of “perception and apperception” rather than imagination. The test consists of ten cards (held in secret) which contain inkblot images, like this one from wikipedia:

A solid tone rendering of the first of ten cards in the Rorschach inkblot test.

I haven’t yet seen yet the other nine Rorschach test images (:-)) but I assume that they are all presumably mirrorimages of real inkblots like the one to the left.
And assuming that the psychological relevance of this test is connected to the mirrorimage property of the blots I wonder wether such a test would also work with moving inkblots, who have already famous counterparts in music clips, such as in queen’s – bohemian rhapsody or gnarls bareley’s crazy. However its fairly easy to do a DIY-rorschach-video-test – just cut your videoimage in the middle and mirror it.

This can have to astonishing results as can be seen at this funny visual mashup of a clip from Godard’s “Bande à Part”.

[20,8
