Even in the outskirts there is still enough fireworks.  An aquaintance of us lost a couple of years one eye by just walking on new years eve on a street.  If you <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randform.org\/blog\/?p=1635\">still<\/a> want to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dw.de\/downright-chaos-in-berlin-on-new-years-eve\/a-17335265\">experience new years eve in Berlin<\/a>  then since there are no <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/L%C3%A4rmschutzwand\">noise barriers<\/a> and roofs against rockets and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Firecracker\">bangers<\/a> on the street then our advise is to at least use some <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hearing_protectors\">hearing protectors<\/a> if that doesn&#8217;t give you too much head aches and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Goggles\">safety glasses<\/a> when moving around on the streets of Berlin on that time of the year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>randform wishes all it&#8217;s readers happy holidays and a good new year 2014! rest of a silvester rocket in a tree in the outskirts of Berlin We preferred to stay in the outskirts of Berlin on New Years Eve.
