The city church of Torgau, built in 1119 is a Hall church<\/a> (since it is built in late gothic style it may have taken a long time to built it). I am making this post not because of eventually ongoing rumors that Catherine Zeta-Jones thinks about entering a convent (which I definitely won’t believe unless there is more evidence..:)) but rather in order to have an opportunity to mention that Gerhard Richter’s new windows in the dome of cologne<\/a> are now on display. But of course the church’s architecture is noteworthy in itself:<\/p>\n There is currently an exhibition in the church about the life of Michael Praetorius<\/a> – a wellknown composer (especially known for his clerical songs).
